Happy Homemaker Tag for January

I finished my tags for January 2011 Happy Homemaker tag swap! I'm excited how they turned out and to be involved with other blog friends out there. I love crafting of all kinds and its fun to feel like I have someone here at my house crafting with me.  Hope you like my tags!  They are the first I've made ever and look forward to making more in the coming months.  I have lots of fur helpers as you can see one of them lying on the table getting his big paw in most of the photos.  His name is Clementine and he is very loveable and cuddly.
Here is a sample of the papers I will be using. I bought the English Garden at Michaels and the other one called Margarita at Big Lots for 5 dollars.  I also have a book I got from an estate sale that I will use as my backing papers that is titled "Your Home and You".  I think it is an old home ec book.  I just love it and think kids need to read some of the stuff in there now.  It has a lot of good information in there about family and home.  I never took home economics and should have since I got married right out of high school.  I never thought I would get married or really have kids when I was in Jr High.  I learned a lot from my husband.  He had been living on his own since he was 17.  My tags for January are my memories of my first born daughter.  I didn't know what I was doing but she turned out wonderful!  She is getting married in July to her boyfriend of 7 years.  We will have a destination wedding in Utah! Thats where his grandparents live and they go visit them every summer.  Now we will all go and become on big family!  I've dreamed of this day!  always fun with Aunt Kadra Louise
